ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER:
Born in a busy city Kathmandu, Sunil Shrestha, 25, began photography as a hobby. Having spent a lot of time searching his photography “style,” he previously landed as a glamor photographer for QuixoticNepal.com. Always striving for excellence, Sunil has been successful in doing some commercial photography. He also has been associated with theimagepark.com and had his work displayed there.

He is comfortable and relaxed both in studio and shooting locations, possessing an uncanny ability to be creative even under pressure. He is also notable for using his skills to promote awareness in many social issues. With the feeling of bringing awareness in the society, he was involved in the non-profitable organization “Rescuing life” as a volunteer photographer.

Apart from all the involvement, he did an effective photo exhibition which was organized by “GalleriaCUC” on the theme of photo story entitled “Tales of dirty feet”. Studying to be a pharmacist, he is currently enrolled in Kathmandu University doing his Doctor of Pharmacy.

Domestic violence is a frightening stagnation to developing society and the world. Domestic violence is no cancer, but never was a social evil so dangerous. Photos, appealing to the literate and non literate demographt, are a powerful tool to examine and frame this disease. These photos are dedicated to every woman who has been through harsh experiences.
