Short description: 

In this workshop, the participants will learn how to plan for, shoot and edit miniature composites with the help of advanced Photoshop techniques. They will learn to make a photo believable while maintaining the ‘fantasy’ feel to it. Although this workshop will be focussed on miniature composites, the participants will also learn key pointers and procedure of creating any genre of composites. 

Course Detail:

Day 1:

“What to think before shooting” + Storyboarding + Props and Location scouting. The participants will learn everything to be considered before actually shooting for the final image. This will mainly be theories that will be applicable to any genre of composites.

Day 2: 

“Let’s Shoot!” We will shoot the background, the subject and any add-ons, applying the knowledge gathered on the first day. 

Day 3:

“Photoshop Magic” On this day, the participants will be guided through step-by-step process on how to scale down the subject, matching the lighting, creating realistic shadows and color correction. By this time, each participant will be able to create amazing miniature composites. 

Highlights and Outcome: 

- To create a surrealistic portrait with extreme proportions.

- Knowledge for your own creations using Photoshop and make it look believable. 

- Storyboarding (concept building) to shooting to post processing
