On Saturday, 17 June 2017, UNHCR Nepal together with Cycle City Network Nepal is organizing the second edition of cycle rally to mark the World Refugee Day 2017.

Background:
The World Refugee Day is celebrated every year on June 20th to commemorate the strength, courage and perseverance of millions of refugees. 

This year, World Refugee Day also marks a key moment for the public to show support for families forced to flee.

In a world where violence forces thousands of families to flee for their lives each day, UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, believes now is the time to show world leaders that the global public stands #WithRefugees. 

To do this, UNHCR has launched #WithRefugees petition to send a message to governments that they must work together and do their fair share for refugees.
