Kamal: A Photo & Visual Exhibition

'Kamal' - a lotus flower in Buddhism resembles purification of the spirit born into murkiness. Its roots are embed deep into the muddy water, but rises above the mud to bloom, clean and fragrant. In Buddhist art, a fully blooming lotus flower signifies enlightenment, while a closed bud represents a time before enlightenment. The mud nourishing the roots embodies the obstacles of life and its adversity, and if we are to strive to gain more wisdom and compassion, we must have the intention to grow as a lotus and open each petal one by one. It is through our human experiences and our adverstiy that we seek to break free and bloom. 

This photo exhibition is our road to discovery and on connecting the dots. It is our adventures, our triumphs, failures, and our stories. Please do come and dive in to our secluded pond!
