Hybrid Spaces Talk and Presentation by Clément Briend

A part of Photo Kathmandu Festival, Projection photography connects reality to its projection, and space to its surface. Clément Briend uses projections as the means to question the very practice of photography. Using projectors outdoors allows him to seek surfaces on which to re-embody a picture, creating a new perception and interpretation of the image. The talk will expand on the artist’s use of projection photography to highlight the artistic, political, individual and the collective.
