Jamacho Jungle Run

The weather is good and clear, we have free time, so let’s make a short Saturday morning race open to everyone.

The route(s) nagarjun 17km route map

The main 17.6 km goes from Phulbari Gate (near Balaju) to the top of Jamacho (2072m) which is a 700m climb over 4km – a great start to your weekend. Then the next couple of kilometers are hard work on very bad road. Then it is jungle trail all the way down to Mudkhu through old un-messed up forest.

Start point & registration

The start is at Phulbari gate, the army checkpost. Opposite and a little down the hill is a restaurant. Registration will be here.

Start is 1km from Balaju bypass, 1.5km from ringroad, 1.75km from Gongabu Naya buspark.

There is one toilet at the registration and one at the army’s gate. Ask nicely.

Notes:

    Give your number back, we will use it again next time.
    Collect your certificate at the finish with time and position. It will not be available after.

Transport

No bus, use public transport. Good luck!

    Coming: Get there yourself to Balaju by micro. It is cheapest and easiest.
    Going: From Mudkhu, take public bus to Gongabu then micro home.
