Introduction

All Nepal Football Association(ANFA) said that the preparation of Gurkha Cup has been completed.

The FA said that the estimated budget of the Championship is Rs.54 lakhs out of which Rs.20 lakhs is given by main sponsor, Gurkha Group.

Gurkha Cup is kicking off on Jestha 9.

16 teams are participating in the championship which has a cash purse of Rs 1m.

The runners up team will get Rs 5 Lakhs.

All the participating will get Rs 50,000 as a preparation money.

ANFA will also provide gate money collection to the participating clubs.

"We are sharing gate money collection with the clubs. We will cover expenses of mofasal teams participating in the championship", ANFA president Ganesh Thapa told press.

The best players of the tournament will get Rs 50,000 each. The Most valuable player will get one Yamaha Mobike.
