FILM SCREENING: THE SARI SOLDIERS

This documentary about six women and their stories during the decade-long civil war presented the audiences with stories from more than the two sides at war. It was filmed over three years during the most historic and pivotal time in Nepal’s modern history.

The Sari Soldiers intimately delves into the extraordinary journey of these women on opposing sides of the conflict, through the democratic revolution that reshapes the country’s future.

We'll also be showcasing short three short films by nepali film makers. These films are a part of "Why Poverty" series by Steps International.
