Alliance Française of Kathmandu OPEN DAY

Alliance Française of Kathmandu is organizing an open day on Friday 27th November from 10 am to 4 pm for the general public. It's the opportunity to discover the French adventure and all AFK services and also to meet current students and staff. Walk in and enjoy the activities than AFK have organized for you. It's completely free of charge and open to all.

Created in Nepal in 1994, the Alliance Française of Kathmandu aims to promote French language by proposing French classes for all and international exams. It’s only certified French institute in Nepal for 21 years. The Alliance Française of Kathmandu is also the French cultural center of the French embassy in Nepal; it spreads the French and Francophone culture by organizing cultural events by enhancing the intercultural dialogue promoting cultural diversity. 

Today, in Kathmandu, the Alliance Française welcomes around 2500 students per year and more than 10 000 visitors attend cultural events each year.

Alliance Française of Kathmandu is a dynamic institute who provide also other services: Campus France (agency for the promotion of higher education), multimedia and games library, French bistrot, translation and interpreting services and rental.

 A full program will be run: 

- French Classes: workshops to show AFK way of teach (song, French expressions...)
- Bistrot: French appetizers
- Medialibrary: a great selection of books for students and explanations about our digital medialibrary (Culturethèque)
- Board games workshop
- Campus France (agency for the promotion of higher education) : meeting with students who went to France for studies
- and also informations  about certifications, French lessons, following cultural events...
