DECEMBER AND JANUARY VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

 

This is with one of our successful programs and projects namely

 

BAL UTSAV-Celebrating talent (8-13 yrs old and 14-18 yrs Old)

 

The volunteers will be actively get involved from the scratch/beginning till the end of this year's BAL UTSAV in January. 

 

EVERYONE HAS AN OPPORTUNITY here :)

 

After loads of request and interest of many for short term volunteering we have opened this application. 

 

The Volunteer opportunity is for everyone of different age groups which are stated as below on Facilitators and Bal Utsav Volunteers.

Facilitators 

--------------

 

1. Music Facilitators - Atleast 2 Applicants

 

The Facilitators could be emerging musicians or anyone from the music field who have performed earlier and have a presence in this field for certain period of time and know most of the instruments and genre. Encouraging students from Music discipline and Musicians as well.

 

The facilitators need to groom the participants in music with the participants instrument. While, also work on group performances and solo performances.

 

2. Dance Facilitators - Atleast 2 Applicants

 

The Facilitators could be emerging performers in dance or anyone from the dance field who have performed earlier and have a presence in this field for certain period of time. Encouraging students from Dance discipline and Performers in Dance as well.

 

The facilitators need to groom the participants in dance. While, also work on group performances and solo performances.

 

3. Vocal Facilitators - Atleast 2 Applicants

 

The Facilitators could be emerging Singers or anyone from the Music and Singing field who have performed earlier and have a presence in this field for certain period of time and also knows various musical genre. Encouraging students from Music discipline and Singers as well.

 

The facilitators need to groom the participants in dance. While, also work on group performances and solo performances.

 

4. Art Facilitators - Atleast 2 Applicants

 

The Facilitators could be emerging Artist or anyone from the Fine Art field who have performed earlier and have a presence in this field for certain period of time. Encouraging students from Fine Art discipline and Artists as well. (If anyone who have ideas on animations and are also illustrators - are requested to state that on the email or phone conversation )

 

The facilitators need to groom the participants in art. While, also work on group performances and solo performances.

Bal Utsav Volunteers

-------------------------

 

Bal Utsav Organizing team have been looking for volunteers in diverse fields. So, please apply on which you are interested as well as have that will from within that you can do it. The Volunteers will have grooming workshops as well and if shown productive outcomes will be offered opportunities ahead to work together.

 

All the volunteers will be acknowledged with Letter of Appreciation for their hard work as well as working together in further projects if they are interested. 

 

1. Promotional Marketing Volunteers

 

The Volunteers need to have good communication skills both in Nepali and English. They must have a wonderful presence on presenting to their clients included with convincing and pleasing attitude.

 

Encouraging high school/ Alevel students who are free after Morning school or college and are in their vacations and want to utilize their best of their leisure time. 

 

Also, Undergraduate Students from management discipline are encouraged too. Others can also apply.

2. Media Volunteers 

 

a. English Writers -

The volunteers must have good writing skills in English. The volunteers will be asked to write articles.While, they will also be working desk and online both. Must also be good in typing.

 

If you have a sample writing please do share with us on the email or bring along with you.Ones who don't have it can also apply.

 

Some skill workshop can be conducted as well for the applicants.

 

b. Nepali Writers -

The volunteers must have good writing skills in Nepali. The volunteers will be asked to write articles.While, they will also be working desk and online both. Must also be good in typing not necessarily Nepali typing. (Ones with Nepali typing skills can let us know while writing us on email or on the phone conversation)

 

If you have a sample writing please do share with us on the email or bring along with you.Ones who don't have it can also apply.

 

Some skill workshop can be conducted as well for the applicants.

 

c. Photographers -

Amateur Photographers are encouraged. Ones with DSLR are always welcomed while compact camera's are also invited to apply. Must have a well sense of photography. The Photographers must have their own camera's (If you have a tripod and your laptop please let us know while writing us on email or on the phone conversation)

 

If you have a sample portfolio (could be link) please do share with us on the email or bring digitally along with you.Ones who don't have it can also apply.

 

Some skill workshop can be conducted as well for the applicants.

 

d. Videographers (Ones who can take Video as well as edit it)

Amateur ones are encouraged. Ones with HD Cam, Cam corder and DSLR are always welcomed while compact camera's are also invited to apply. Must have a well sense of taking video. They must have their own camera's (If you have a tripod and your laptop please let us know while writing us on email or on the phone conversation)

 

If you have a sample portfolio (could be link) please do share with us on the email or bring digitally along with you.Ones who don't have it can also apply.

3. Normal Volunteers

 

Sometimes some of us are skilled with many skills and sometimes some of us look for such skills and want to get engaged with where they have their potential in. 

 

So, share us what you can do. And if you just want yourself to get engaged yes you are always welcome for this :).

4. IT Volunteers

 

a. Social Media Volunteers

 

If you are active in social media and also have an idea of html, fbml and creating iframes and help us moderating facebook pages and work on strategies to promote the page and other social media then you are encouraged to apply.

 

Ones who have a wish that i have a little bit of idea on this but should i be applying or not, then just go for it and apply but yes state what do you know and what you don't as well.

 

Some skill workshop can be conducted as well for the applicants.

 

b. Graphic Designers

 

You love graphics and you are almost much with Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator (Or any other applications like Macromedia Freehand, Corel draw etc..) then you are welcomed to apply.

 

Some skill workshop can be conducted as well for the applicants.

This is a volunteer opportunity where you say us what you can be help for us. May be we might be loosing you so why not joining in so just state what can you just be helpful in. You can always be open with ideas and think out of the box. Even few skills you have can encourage many and many more.
