Women with Vision (National Women Empowerment and Equality Policy Conference)

PROGRAM CONCEPT

WOMENS have vision, dream, hope, trust, belief, value and guts to make a change and live their dreams.

They have many hurdles in their life when they peruse their goals; family, friends, culture, society, blood-relatives, male dominant society, flirt, offense, violence, hatred, jealousy, politics, bad-words, critics and many other problems.

All person is born with a dream and goal, we change it with the reality we see from our eyes, we adjust it with the time and ability we have, we peruse it with support, self-confidence, dreams, society culture and determination we have. If we all continue with our dream then one day we all will be successful.

Women is made to think that their dream ought be husband, husband's family, kids, society, culture, household, cooking, cleaning, being present in gatherings, supporting in family business and have no dream for their life.

Their dream ends on marriage. They might have dream in their childhood to be someone but they forget the dream they have. Their defense mechanism is on when they kill their dream and just live life for others.

We don’t believe that women are for household and family life only. They can be equal and work on their goals and continue to be known by their own name. If we change society thinking those women are equal not only in words but in practice also then we will make a leap for development of nation.

Let's not be hypocrite by saying women's are equal and going back to same old male dominant society time.

Let us all start living a dream, nourish it, make it grow, see it make fruits and leaves and then see passengers praise the beautiful fruit it makes from the dream they made alive.

Motivation of the event

Motive was just a click we all see in many forms of women. Be it your friend, sister, colleagues, girlfriend, aunt, didi, neighbor, classmate or any form. We see most of our women friends slowly slowly converted to a hopeless and self belief-less situation from many factors may be. They slowly think they are just able to do only routine and basic jobs and if they try to do something prominent and significant again have to face lots of questions and obstacle from society. They back-off from positions, opportunity, dreams, vision, self image and many other aspirations they had when they never knew about the society and obstacles.

I personally feel the right meaning of equality is in all comprehensive way. First, equality in dreams and vision. Be it like a women wants to be doctor, no one should stop her. Actor, Singer, IT, Nurse, Sportsman, Entrepreneur or Employee. Choice should be her. Decision should be her. Failure or success should be her. So with this aim we are having significant number of women who never made any excuse for their success. So that all young women will always dream big and never stop dreaming. We all know women population in Nepal is more than men. If we can make all women have a big dream and achieve it, our nation will grow multiple times than what is now.
