Talk Talk with Jon Shrestha

About the Speaker:
Born in Germany and brought up in Nepal, Jon Shrestha at the age of 19 has written a crime fiction novel titled ‘The Darkside’. He is an A-level graduate from Chelsea International Academy.

The book is about the protagonist named Henry Stillson who is originally from United States, the son of a billionaire. He is the sole heir to a billion dollar fortune but he does not want to inherit a single penny from George Stillson who has adopted him. He chooses to lead the life of a genetic engineer in a multinational pharmaceutical company – Vedmedics. He leaves his billionaire lifestyle and comes to the mystic land of Nepal to find his destiny. However, things have a tendency to go wrong when least expected which sends the protagonist into a tumultuous journey where one moment he has everything and the next moment he is in the verge of destruction. Soon he is to discover that he has made an enemy who is the master of manipulation.

Sharing has always been an important tool for people as it creates an environment of learning and sharing in general and energizes individual in particular.

'Youth sharing' is used generally to pass on message on particular theme, on any categories from music and love to career and current issues.

Hence, Talk Talk has been created to have a space and forum where people from different background can come together, share what they have and inspire each other as well as revitalizing self and create an environment of knowing and being known.

So, keeping the youth voice in mind, this month's series of TALK-TALK will feature an Interaction with Jon Shrestha a budding youth writer who has recently published his first novel "The Dark Side".

Talk Talk is a forum where we can present views on any topic under the sun and the moon, as per interest and demand of time. It will be an hour long taking place on the first Monday of every month according to Nepali Calendar.
