ABOUT EXHIBITION:
Nepal is a country of festivals and celebrations every single day in Nepal is a ceremony. Considering the importance of the festival, Sanskriti brings an exhibition show casing different festivals of the Nepal celebrated in different parts of the country. The exhibition acculates the diversity of people and tolerance towards the different festivals of Nepal.

ABOUT PHOTOGRAPHER:
The passion of art and photography drives Laxmi Prasad Ngakhusi. He believes, a camera is an object to express own contemplation and he seeks to bring change in horizon of photography via vivacious portrayal of imageries with a touch of fine art.

A master from Lalit Kala Campus, Ngakhusi, has so far successfully conducted six personal exhibitions. A professional photographer and photojournalist with Kantipur Publications, Ngakhusi had bagged the title of 5th WCN Nature and Wildlife Photography Competition in 2009, under the category of - Human Interaction with Nature. He perceives photography as the language of light and shades, and believes that a picture is made, rather than taken. Over the years, his wide collection of photographs spans over culture, nature, landscape, portraits and fine art.

फोटोग्राफी प्रतिको चाहना र कलाले उनलाई कृयाशील बनाउँछ । कुनै सुन्दरतालाई अभिव्यक्त गर्न र आफ्नो कलाको प्रयोग गरेर फोटोग्राफीको क्षितिजमा थोरै भएपनि परिवर्तन् ल्याउनका लागी प्रयत्नशील रहन्छन् । ललित कला क्याम्पसबाट स्नातक नाखुशीले अहिलेसम्म छ वटा एकल फोटो प्रदर्शनीको समेत आयोजना गरिसकेका छन् ।

कान्तिपुर पब्लिकेशनमा कार्यरत नाखुशीले सन् २००९ मा पाँचौं डब्लुसिएन नेचर एण्ड वाइल्डलाइफ फोटोग्राफी प्रतियोगिताको उपाधी हात पारिसकेका छन् । उनी फोटोग्राफीलाई प्रकाश र छायाँको भाषाका रुपमा परिभाषित गर्छन् । उनी तस्वीर खिचिने भन्दा पनि सिर्जना गरिने बताउँछन् । उनको व्यवसायीक फोटोग्राफीको यात्राका क्रममा अहिलेसम्म संस्कृति, प्रकृति, फाइन आर्टको दर्जनौं फोटोहरुको संकलन गरिसकेका छन् ।
