World Environment Day ('WED') is celebrated every year on 5th June to raise global awareness of the need to take positive environmental action. It is run by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
It was the day that United Nations Conference on the Human Environment began.
Government of Nepal has been organizing different programs to celebrate the event every year. And part of the initative its has been organizing cycle rally from last year to highlight the importance of cycle culture in environment conservation.

Basantapur Durbar Square - New road Gate - Jamal - Keshar Mahal- Hattisar- Putalisadak- Singh Durbar- Maitighar- Thapathali- Pulchowk- Mangalbazar- Patan Durbar Square

Rally will formally end with refreshment program, certificate and plant distribution.
