Due to popular demands, we are bringing back the Nepal Reads book discussion on 'These Fine Lines' poetry anthology with a live poetry reading session at Yala Mandala, Kwalkhu Road
Lalitpur.

So come join us for an interactive day full of lively discussions and enlightening conversations among other creative and kindred spirits.

The discussions will revolve around poems in the anthology, poetry in general and participant's personal experiences. If you are interested to be a part of the book discussion, please sign up. We will be hosting a maximum of 12 participants. 

Participants will be selected on a first come first serve basis.

About Nepal Reads & These Fine Lines

Nepal Reads is an initiative under the US Embassy's Book Bus, that hopes to encourage a culture of reading and reflection in Nepal, especially amongst the youth. Each year, the project will feature two selected works of literature through which it will engage readers in discussions and activities around the chosen works. The featured book for first edition of Nepal Reads is These Fine Lines, a collection of poems written by female Nepali poets. It features poems that explore their desire and struggle for freedom within the restraints of Nepali society.

To be a part of the project, interested participants can borrow featured books from the Book Bus or purchase it at local bookshops. They can check the events calendar and join a discussion by signing up.
