दिवेस लोहनी नेपाली प्रहरी संगठन भित्र आफ्नो निष्ठा र भ्रष्टाचारविरुद्धको अभियानका लागी चिनिनु हुन्छ । प्रहरी उपरिक्षक लोहनी अहिले जिल्ला कार्यालय पर्साका प्रमुखको हैसियतमा हुनुहुन्छ । डिल्लीबजार, काठमाडौंमा जन्मे र हुर्केका लोहनीले शंकरदेव क्याम्पस, काठमाडौंबाट स्नातक पुरा गर्नुभयो । चार्टर्ड अकाउन्टेण्ट बन्ने लक्ष्य लिएका भएपनि स्वदेशमै यसका लागी राम्रो शिक्षण संस्था पाउन नसकेपछि उहाँले यो लक्ष्य छुटाउनु प¥यो । र आफ्ना बाबुको सुझावमा सन् १९९२ मा प्रहरी संगठनमा प्रवेश गर्नुभयो ।

उहाँले २ दशक भन्दा बढी नेपाल प्रहरीको सेवा गर्नुभएको छ र विभिन्न अफ्रिकी र एसियाली देशमा संयुक्त राष्ट्र मिशनका लागि समेत काम गरेको अनुभव बटुली सक्नु भएको छ । निष्ठावान् मात्र नभएर आफ््नो व्यवसायीक जीवनमा गम्भीर अपराधका मुद्दा समेत समाधान गर्न सकेकाले नै उहाँ प्रेस र नागरिक दुबैका प्रिय हुनुहुन्छ । युवाहरूको देशभक्तिले मात्र राष्ट्र विकास गर्न मदत गर्न सक्छ भन्ने उहाँको विश्वास छ ।

Dibesh Lohani, is a policeman from Nepal known for his integrity and mission against corruption within the Nepal Police Force. He is currently the Superintendent of Police in Parsa District. Born and raised up in Dillibazar, Kathmandu, he graduated from Shankar Dev Campus, Kathmandu. Lohani aimed to become a Chartered Account but due to lack of institutes in Nepal he was forced to drop that aim. Later in 1992, he decided to join police force as inspired by his father.

He has been serving Nepal Police Force for more than a couple of decades and has also worked for different UN peacekeeping missions in different African and Asian nations. Lohani has been respected for his integrity and value for police service. He has received support from both the press and citizens for his activities as a determined and honest police officer. He is also well known for solving very serious crime cases during his career. He conceives a developed Nepal and believes that patriotism of youths can only help to develop the Nation.
