Events Detail

Jungle -> Garden Campaign

Women LEAD is super excited to continue creating our new hub for young women's leadership and changemaking in Kathmandu!

Using techniques we've been busy learning from the incredible Hariyo Chowk team, the entire Women LEAD community will be working on turning the jungle that's about to take over our office into an urban garden.

Join WLEAD staff, LEADers, alumni, mentors and partners for three days of intensive composting, gorilla gardening, building a bbq from urban scrap, and basically getting very ver

y muddy.

Stop by the WLEAD office in Jawalakhel for an hour, or move there for the entire three days, to catch up with old friends, meet other young activists, and help us design and build this collaborative green space for young women!

More information will be posted soon so stay tuned and spread the word!
