I Cycle for "Earthquake Safety"

Every year on and around January 16/ 2nd of Magh (as per Bikram Sambat Calendar), Nepal has been celebrating the National Earthquake Safety Day since past 13 years. Ministry of Home Affairs works as the Coordinator of National Committee to mark the day nationwide with array of activities. The National Society for Earthquake Technology- Nepal (NSET) as the member secretary of the Earthquake Safety Day National Committee (ESDNC), chaired by Hon. Minister for Home Affairs observes the ESD by organizing activities with the purpose of raising awareness on earthquake risk reduction and preparedness.

I cycle for "Earthquake Safety"
This is a new event organized by ESD Organizers in association with valued partners on the occasion of 16th Earthquake Safety Day!
Cycling and Eq. Safety - does it make any sense - of course YES..Cycling has remained much contributive to many campaigns mainly green campaigns but why don't we make it contributing to propagate the message of Earthquake Safety too - its all about helping people for better and safer lives...!

In this rally , participants will raise awareness & disseminate Earthquake Safety message , Watch the Street Drama ,Learn more about the Earthquake Safety , risk reduction and preparedness.

Route : Bhugol Park -Ratna park -Sahid Gate- Tripureshowr - Maitighar - New Baneshowr - Sinamangal - Bhimsengola - maitidevi -Dilli bazzar -Putalisadak - Kamaladi - Hattisar - Thamel - Thaithi - Ikhapokhari - Basantapur Dabali
