Greencity and Cyclecity for Lokmaya

Lokmaya ,9 months, little girl from Butwal ,no hole in anus will be operated by Green City Hospital .

Previously, Green City Hospital had promised to be a Cycle Friendly hospital, and we linked this Nobel Cause with our cycle city campaign for good.

Kathmandu Cycle City 2020, Cycle City Network Nepal is organizing a cycle rally for this financially deprived family and child's education and for her further health support . We will handover the fund to the family.

To take part in this event we ask for a non-refundable registration fee of Nrs 100/- and your commitment to raising a minimum of 1,00,000/- (in words NRs One Lac) to help Lokmaya's future.

WE ARE INAUGURATING THE CYCLE STAND INSIDE THE HOSPITAL PREMISES .

This is Social Welfare program created by Kathmandu Cycle City 2020, Cycle City Network Nepal. This group is formed by a network of cycle promoters who has taken their responsibility to promote cycling in feasible cities to decrease Carbon Footprint(Emission of carbon) of Nepal, and help by participating in the global fight of Climate Change. We aim to force better government policies to make cycling a better experience by doing regular follow up and series of events regularly. We plan to do research and analysis where needed.

Anal atresia


Definition

Anal atresia is a condition that a baby is born with. It is a problem with the development of the anus and the part of the intestine just over the anus. Anal atresia can make it difficult or impossible for the child to pass stool. The specific problems can vary from person to person but may include:
*Causes

An unborn baby's intestines develop during the fifth to seventh week of pregnancy. A disturbance in this development causes anal atresia. The exact reason for the disturbances isn't clear.

*Risk Factors

Anal atresia happens in boys twice as often as girls. It may also occur with other birth defects. The use of steroid inhalers by the mother during pregnancy may be linked to anal atresia.

*Symptoms

If your baby has anal atresia, he/she may have:

No anal opening present at birth
Anal opening in the wrong location
No stool within 24-48 hours after birth
Stool being excreted through the vagina, penis, scrotum, or urethra
Tight, swollen stomach
Milder anal atresia may not be apparent until later in life. It may show as a lack of bowel control by age 3.
