Global Divestment Umbrella rally- Nepal

How many more years like this.. waiting whole day to get a litre of fuel for our vehicle, striking every time to lower the price of those fuels... what if we strike demanding for the same thing in a different way... yes this is the time for the change and this is the last chance to act to save our planet earth and save our nation and world from the energy crisis, choosing the renewable energy...

As a part of Global Divestment , We the peoples of Nepal will start marching from the heart of our nation, BhrikutiMandap( we will gather over there around 7:30am) and end up in Basantapur around 9am, during march everyone will put up an umbrella to symbolize that the peoples are not prioritizing sun energy( solar) and struggling hard for the fossil fuel, through our actions we will represent the shift needed away from dirty old fossil fuel dinosaurs to the shining symbols of hope like wind mills and solar panels. It's time we create a new story of our future, together.



Together we can make a difference, be a part of this global change..



Note: everyone is requested to bring one umbrella, color and size doesn’t matter. Additionally, any useful stuffs to dissiminate positive message about renewable energy would be appreciated.
