Born in Kathmandu, I call Biratnagar my home as my roots and upbringing are from this place. Biratnagar has always been my comfort zone as it provides a sense of security with familiar neighborhoods and an open space to create new work.

After finishing school (10th grade) from Nepal, I went to Bangalore, India for my further studies and completed my Bachelors in Psychology from Bangalore University in 2015 and joined Emporio Armani in Kolkata. After working for a year in luxury retail, I realized my interest did not lie in serving the luxury clients as a fashion advisor but to do something useful and meaningful. I wanted to provide aid to the marginalized community people/ Children of my country and work for them. After quitting my job at Armani I registered for a volunteering project with VSO Nepal and worked on its “Gender Equality “and “Inclusive Education” Project in Baglung and Surkhet Districts of Nepal followed by a stint at Seto Gurans (an early childhood development center) in Biratnagar.
