Exploring ARCASIA- 2013

The Architects’ Regional Council Asia (ARCASIA) is a Council of the presidents of the National Institutes of Architects of eighteen Asian countries that are members of ARCASIA. The ARCASIA will celebrate the achievements of architects in its 18 member countries as well as in other countries in Asia by organizing paper presentations, posters and exhibits that will show case the emerging theoretical and analytical perspectives in Asian architecture, notable developments in contemporary architecture in Asia, and will offer an opportunity to discuss the future of Asian architecture.

Every alternate year, an ARCASIA FORUM is hosted by one of the member countries of ARCASIA and this time, the Society of Nepalese Architects (SONA) plays host to this MEGA gathering of Architects (ARCASIA FORUM -17) in Kathmandu on October 6-10, 2013 with the theme of “Spirituality in Architecture” with a sub-theme of “Image of the City”.
