DISABILITY ETIQUETTE

The Rotaract Club of Pashupati-Ktm in association with Pediatric Rehabilitation Nepal (PRN) will be organizing a one day program "Disability Etiquette" - Interaction program at DAV school. The program will be organized and maintained by the Club, PRN and the local Youths with disabilities. The main activities of project include;

1. Registration:

The participants will be registered as they arrive at a registration desk. Distribution of the stationeries.

As the participants arrive, Tea and snacks will be served during this time.

2.Warm up: 

Formal program will start at 9:30am with a session with warm up activities. Participants would not want to miss this.

3.Lecture and introduction:

A short lecture cum interactive session as an introduction to the global and national scenario of disability will be covered. It will also include the importance of public awareness about disability etiquettes, general components of disability etiquettes.

4.Awareness through Interaction:

This session includes 3 sessions of activities given to the participants.

The 3 activities will focus on specific activities provided by the facilitator to encourage bonding and free interaction of youths with and without disability and their families too.

5.End of the program:

End of the program will include conclusive speech from the participants and willing guests.

Resource person and facilitator:

Rtr. Deepa Bajracharya, Physiotherapist, a health professional, will be facilitating this educational program for awareness of disability in today's youth population. As a facilitator, She would like to represent "Pediatric Rehabilitation Nepal" which aims to work for the benefit of children with disabilities in Nepal.
