'Conflux': a free music and dance project for all ages and experience

The British Council is running a series of events focused on ‘creativity’. These projects are for people to develop original,
unconventional and interesting ideas.These two amazing artists form U.K, Marie Forbes & Mark Holub, will be conducting 'CONFLUX' a <free> Music and Dance Project for people of all ages and experiences.

• Free Music Workshop: 2nd January 2013 by Mark Holub

Mark’s workshops will explore improvisation as a tool to creating compositions, and the relationship between music and movement.

All instrumentalists, artists of various genres can come and participate.
Venue: KJC
Detail: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm OR 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
(interested participants can choose either morning or afternoon time)

• Free Dance Workshop: 3rd January 2013 by Marie Forbes

Each day Marie will deliver a fun and energetic dance class. Using a variety of dance influences, she will work creatively with participants to create movement, based on a theme/idea devised by the participants.
Venue: Moksh Auditorium

**Rehearsals for Music & Dance Project:
(Venue: KJC/ Moksh Auditorium, Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur)

Dates: 4th, 5th and 6th January 2013

Detail: 10 - 4pm (a break of one hour in between)

Performance Concert: (Free Entrance)

This will be a concert combining both dancers and musicians into a form of expression combining different styles, movement and improvisation between the participants.

* Guest Performing Band : Resonance (a band led by one of Nepal's renowned female vocalist/musician, Subani Moktan)
