Brihat Cycle Rally

BACKGROUND: Organised by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment and supported by Cycle City Network Nepal (CCNN) amidst the ongoing fuel crisis nationwide, the rally is a symbol of sustainabilty and alternatives. Joining hands in the rally will be other alternatives of carbon free locomotives - electric bikes and motors. Showing their support in this movement by actively participating in the rally will be Honorable Minister Bishwendra Pashwan, Ministry of Science, Technology and environment along with Secretary of the ministry, Dr. Krishna Chandra Paudel, Joint Secretary Mahendra Man Gurung and Jagdish Bhakta Shrestha (DG, Dept of Environment). 

All fellow cyclists and users of alternative transport are cordially welcome in this mass movement. 

ROUTE: Jawalakhel - Pulchowk -Thapathali - Tripuershwor - NAC - Jamal - Kantipath - Kesar Mahal - Jai Nepal - Hattisar - Putalisadak - Pradarshani Marg - Nepal Tourism Board - Bhadrakali- Maithghar-Babarmahal - Forestry Complex.
